Dusk is a beautiful part
of the day when all chaos is put to absolute silence and the world finds a
gorgeous excuse to shut and settle down. Dusk is so relaxing, inviting and
seducing that; how bad ever the day was, our souls are put to a mesmerizing
rest with fading light and fading stress. When
the potential of dusk is so powerful while within the confines of man mad
structures, if you could, imagine how exhilarating it could be to witness “dusk”
in the form god intended it to be…This was one of the high points of my “intermittent”
life in Western Ghats, as the glowing ball of Hydrogen romantically set behind
the magical monsoon clouds…To make my
departure from there a nostalgic affair; a bunch of pristine girls from the nearby
village celebrated the most “eye watering” birthday I had ever seen in all of
my life, by waiting for the evening sun to peep out of the distant clouds and
then, singing the happy birthday song for their BD girl to cut the small cake…I
never had seen something as simple and quiet as this event, that made it
extremely difficult for me to dry up my eyes…for a long time…after the sun had
gone to the other side of the world…
